How you'll contribute A MRI Tech who excels in this role: Performs magnetic resonance imaging in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice Reviews patient history and physician's orders. Educates patients on procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation. When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate Positions patients and performs imaging procedures. Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters. Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Ongoing learning and career advancement opportunities. What we're looking for: Applicants must have two year certificate or associates degree successfully passed the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
