JOB DESCRIPTION
The Magnetic Resonance Technologist is responsible for performing imaging procedures using radiofrequency waves and strong magnetic fields. Utilizes a high technical expertise to operate a variety of equipment including computers. Position requires independent judgement under the general supervision of the Radiologist and the MRI Supervisor.
EDUCATION
Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology (CAHEA/JRCT), and has acquired certification in MRI.This position requires verification of your college transcript. Please be prepared to provide a copy should you be invited for an interview.
EXPERIENCE
Two years cross sectional imaging and/or computer assisted imaging preferred with one year full time experience in MR preferred. Demonstrated superior technical knowledge and expertise in cross sectional anatomy.
