The Breakdown The Burton Guides are on a mission to welcome one of our experienced seasonal staff to join us full time, year round. This posting is open to prior seasonal staff only , with a strong preference to have been on the team for Winter 2025/2026 and our transition to the Gorgias platform. The daily work required of the year-round role is identical to the seasonal position, without the seasonal start and end dates. You'll be expected to leverage your tenure and perspective to surface gaps and collaborate on solutions in the off-season, assist in training the seasonal staff, and operate independently whenever appropriate. The start date for this role is as soon as possible. What You Get to Do BE the voice of Burton - via phone, chat and email - delivering best-in-class support Guide customers through product, order and warranty questions with patience and expertise Help riders find the perfect gear for their needs across Burton and Anon Build one-on-one customer relationships, treating each interaction with care Share feedback that helps evolve our customer experience and product development Meet productivity and quality levels Stay current on product launches, tech updates and training Collaborate with eComm, Retail, Warranty and HQ teams to keep the stoke high Participate in mentoring and coaching designed to help you grow

What You'll Bring Required, No Exceptions:

Minimum of one full winter season as a Burton Basecamp Guide. A flexible, positive attitude built for fast-paced, high energy environments where change is the constant Curiosity and the confidence to figure things out independently Accountability and the confidence to say "I need help!" Clear written and verbal communication skills; comfort with digital tools Familiarity with Gorgias and Shopify are strongly preferred Where You'll Work Our Burlington, VT HQ is unlike any other office—flagship store, skate parks, and steps from trails and the lake. We also have a Montreal hub with its own great vibe and many French-speaking staff. In-person collaboration is encouraged 3+ days/week; fully-remote roles are available for strong candidates with strong, reliable internet required.
