1 Description American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift travel contract requiring at least 1 year of acute care experience, including ER and pediatric settings, with X-ray proficiency also required. Details Work setting includes adult acute care, adult outpatient, emergency department, and pediatric acute care environments Night shift patient population consists primarily of emergency department and inpatient floor patients, ranging from newborns to trauma patients Performs CT imaging across a broad range of exams including abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal, chest, vascular, and cardiac studies (e.g., coronary CTA, calcium scoring, pulmonary embolism CTA) Also required to perform general X-ray procedures including extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal studies Proficiency with contrast media preparation and administration required Uses PACS system Epic EMR experience required 4x10 hour night shifts, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Sunday through Wednesday On-call is not required but may be voluntarily accepted Floating between sister facilities within the state may be expected; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment Requirements Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience in acute care, ER, and pediatric settings ARRT (R) and BLS required; ARRT (CT) preferred Active Washington State license required at time of submission; license required if applicable Epic EMR experience required Must be able to perform a wide range of CT and general X-ray procedures independently Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for a travel contract 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration Must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility (permanent, travel, or registry/per-diem) including location and dates Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply A minimum of 2 technologists are on shift at all times during nights Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day All RTO requests must be submitted upfront; post-offer RTO may not be approved Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility Candidates who have previously worked at a Providence facility must disclose this information, including location and dates Facility does not accept candidates with background hits
