1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Radiology X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week acute care assignment requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARRT (R) certification. Details Community hospital setting with acute care, emergency department, ICU, OR, and bedside/portable procedures Performs a range of X-ray studies including abdomen, chest, spine, pelvis, upper and lower extremities, and skull imaging Fluoroscopy and enema studies such as barium swallow, upper GI series, and contrast enema preferred Mobile and surgical imaging including C-arm procedures, portable chest, and portable abdomen Uses PACS system, with Philips and Fuji CR equipment experience preferred Epic EMR experience required Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM No on-call requirements May be required to float between sister facilities within the health system Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technologist required Current BLS and ARRT (R) certification required Washington state license required if applicable Community hospital experience required; teaching hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred Experience in acute care, ER, ICU, bedside, and OR settings Compact license must be in hand at time of submission Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required Additional Information First-time travelers will be considered for this role Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) All requested time off must be submitted upfront during the application process Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this travel contract Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside outside a 50-mile radius Candidates must disclose any prior work history with the health system, including permanent, travel, or per-diem roles
