At least 2 years of MRI Technologist experience ARRT(MR), ARRT(R), and BLS certifications Washington State certification in both MRI and Radiology Experience in Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ER/Trauma, Pediatric Acute Care, and Pediatric Outpatient Strong experience performing both MRI and X-ray procedures Experience with GE and Siemens MRI equipment PACS experience Trauma Level I experience preferred Epic experience preferred First-time travelers accepted Job Description We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Everett, Washington. The ideal candidate must be proficient in both MRI and Radiology/X-ray procedures and comfortable working with adult and pediatric patients in a free-standing emergency department and outpatient setting. Approximately 50% of the patient volume is expected to come from the ED and 50% from outpatient services. The technologist will perform a wide range of MRI examinations and X-ray procedures while maintaining excellent patient care and safety standards. Duties and Responsibilities Perform MRI examinations of the brain, head and neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and musculoskeletal system Perform MRA, MRV, MRCP, and cardiac MRI procedures Perform MRI studies for adult and pediatric acute-care and outpatient patients Perform ER/trauma imaging as required Perform X-ray procedures across multiple body regions Prepare and administer contrast media as required Start peripheral IVs and follow appropriate patient safety procedures Operate and maintain familiarity with GE and Siemens equipment Utilize PACS for image processing and documentation Follow MRI safety, radiation safety, and infection-control protocols Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Work independently while providing high-quality patient care Collaborate with radiology and other interdisciplinary teams Working Conditions The MRI Technologist works in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging environment, performing MRI examinations on adult acute-care, outpatient, and ER/trauma patients. The position requires prolonged standing and walking, frequent patient positioning and transfers, and the ability to assist patients with varying mobility levels. The technologist must strictly follow MRI safety protocols, including screening patients and staff for MRI contraindications, maintaining a controlled MRI environment, and following appropriate PPE and infection-control procedures. The role also involves preparing and administering contrast media and starting peripheral IVs when required. The technologist must be comfortable working independently and managing an average workload of approximately 6-9 exams per day. Experience with Siemens MRI equipment is required. Weekend coverage may involve working independently with support from an assistant for patient transport, orders, and exam assistance. Additional Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience required

BLS, ARRT
