2996439760-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Kaiser Permanente seeks a Mammography Technologist I to deliver high-quality breast imaging in a technology-driven environment. You will perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, ensuring accurate positioning, image quality, and patient safety. Collaborating with radiologists and clinical staff, you'll support efficient workflows, maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, and uphold strict HIPAA and radiation safety standards. This role offers exposure to innovative health IT tools, ongoing training, and opportunities to contribute to process and quality improvements. Responsibilities Perform high-quality digital mammography exams following established imaging protocols and safety standards Verify patient identity, obtain medical history, and explain procedures to ensure comfort and understanding Correctly position patients and operate imaging equipment to obtain accurate, diagnostic-quality images Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to review images and support timely diagnosis Maintain and calibrate mammography equipment; report and document any technical issues Accurately document exams in PACS/RIS and follow HIPAA and data security standards Adhere to radiation safety guidelines, infection control, and quality assurance procedures Support workflow optimization by coordinating schedules and minimizing patient wait times Participate in ongoing training, technology updates, and process improvement initiatives Provide compassionate, patient-centered care aligned with Kaiser Permanente and Systeme.io values Required Skills Digital mammography Patient positioning Radiation safety
