Role:

Mammography Technologist I responsible for providing high-quality mammography services, preparing equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic mammography imaging, position patients appropriately, and evaluate image quality. Follow safety standards, maintain radiation safety, and complete quality assurance activities. Input patient data accurately into computer systems and ensure proper identification. Educate patients on procedures, address concerns, and promote patient-focused care. Respond swiftly to contrast reactions, assist with first aid, and observe patient condition during procedures. Maintain a clean, organized radiology environment and adhere to all regulatory requirements, including MQSA and OSHA policies. Collaborate effectively with team members and participate in shift rotations and training as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED. Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) and Basic Life Support certification required. Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills. State certification as Mammography Technologist and AART registration preferred; training provided if experienced radiology technician. One year of mammography experience is preferred.
