Radiology Beloit Memorial Hospital is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Radiology Technologists to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. The Radiology Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to physician orders and established protocols. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and addressing questions or concerns. Position patients accurately to obtain quality diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure. Operate and maintain radiographic equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety standards. Review images for quality and completeness before submission for interpretation. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the EMR and PACS systems. Adhere to radiation safety principles, including ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) standards. Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to medical emergencies. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Assist with quality assurance activities and departmental improvement initiatives. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of imaging rooms and equipment. Participate in on-call, weekend, and holiday rotation. as required
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of an AMA-accredited school of Radiologic Technology Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Licensed in the State of Wisconsin. CPR Certification within 90 days of hire Self-motivated and able to be flexible. Ability to problem-solve and function independently. Knowledge of radiographic imaging techniques, patient positioning, and radiation safety. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, patient-centered environment. Must adhere to established to regulatory agencies, Beloit Health System, and department policies, rules and regulations.
