Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Advance your career in medical imaging by bringing your expertise as a Radiology or X-Ray Technologist to a thriving healthcare environment. This contract role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a skilled team, utilizing state-of-the-art imaging equipment to deliver quality care to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures, including standard X-rays, in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols Prepare and position patients accurately to obtain optimal imaging results Ensure proper operation and routine maintenance of radiology equipment Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to facilitate efficient workflow Provide compassionate and clear communication to patients regarding procedures Adhere to infection control and radiological safety guidelines at all times
Preferred Qualifications:
Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification or equivalent Valid Radiologic Technologist license required Experience in a fast-paced hospital or clinical setting highly preferred Strong understanding of radiographic positioning, anatomy, and patient safety practices Excellent attention to detail with effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to changing environments and work collaboratively within a team Enjoy working with advanced technology in a supportive health care setting, where quality and safety are top priorities.
