GE scanner, traveler experience, and EPIC; may need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed Join our dynamic healthcare team as a CT Tech / Computed Tomography Technologist, where your expertise in advanced imaging techniques will play a vital role in patient diagnosis and care. In this energetic role, you will operate state-of-the-art radiologic imaging equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of the body, supporting physicians in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Your proficiency in radiation safety procedures, anatomy, and medical terminology will ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your skills across various modalities including PET scans, fluoroscopy, interventional radiology, and more. Duties Perform computed tomography (CT) scans with precision, ensuring optimal image quality for diagnostic evaluation. Operate and troubleshoot advanced radiologic imaging equipment such as PET scanners, fluoroscopy units, DEXA scanners, and mammography systems. Implement radiation safety protocols consistently to protect patients, staff, and yourself during all imaging procedures. Assist with emergency room imaging needs and urgent care procedures to support rapid diagnosis in high-pressure situations. Conduct specialized imaging procedures including interventional radiography, nuclear medicine studies, and physiologic assessments such as DEXA scans. Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures clearly, ensuring comfort, and maintaining aseptic techniques throughout all interactions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate diagnostic radiology services within Level I trauma centers or emergency medicine settings. Qualifications Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist with specialized training in CT imaging from an accredited program. Proven experience operating radiologic imaging equipment including CT scanners, PET scans, mammography units, and fluoroscopy systems. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Experience working in urgent care settings or Level I trauma centers is highly desirable. $65.00 - $85.00 per hour
