Full-time, 36 hours per week (.9 FTE) Work setting: On-site Relocation assistance available Position Overview A respected community hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join its Diagnostic Imaging team. This is an excellent opportunity for an imaging professional looking to expand their skills: candidates with multiple modality certifications are welcome, and cross-training may be available in CT, MRI, or Mammography. Additional compensation is available for qualifying for additional modalities. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures safely and accurately Provide essential technical services within the Diagnostic Imaging Department Work independently with minimal supervision from the radiologist Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures Operate imaging equipment according to established procedures and safety standards Produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation Confirm patient identity and explain procedures clearly and compassionately Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records Follow radiation-safety, infection-prevention, and patient-safety protocols Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, providers, and other clinical team members Participate in cross-training for CT, MRI, or Mammography when applicable Required Qualifications Associate degree or higher in Radiologic Technology Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or registry eligible Current Wisconsin radiographer license CPR/BLS certification Ability to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgment Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient-service skills Preferred Qualifications Previous radiologic technology or related imaging experience Certification in CT, MRI, or Mammography Dual-modality or multimodality imaging experience Schedule Full-time position working 36 hours per week Flexible starting-time options Rotating weekend coverage approximately every four weeks Weekend shifts may begin at 7:00 a.m., 3:00 p.m., or 11:00 p.m. Holiday coverage approximately one or two times per year Holiday shifts may begin at 7:00 a.m., 3:00 p.m., or 11:00 p.m. Compensation The anticipated pay range is $26.54-$39.82 per hour . Additional compensation may be available for qualifying modality certifications.
