BayCare Clinic Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is seeking a Radiology Technician to join our growing team in Green Bay, Wisconsin. We're looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented professional who is committed to creating a positive experience for every patient, every visit. Schedule 32-40 hours per week Monday through Friday Hours vary based on clinic needs between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. No weekends No holidays Why BayCare Clinic? The Job:
Performs appropriate diagnostic radiographic exams. Accurately identifies and labels radiographs. Positions patients and selects exposure factors for various radiologic exams. Provides radiation protection and safety in accordance with prescribed methods and sound professional ethics. Adheres to established quality standards and performs equipment quality assurance tests as directed. Assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to age-specific needs. Reports malfunctioning equipment. Assists in clinical direction and evaluation of student technologists. Properly lifts and transports patients as needed. Compares requisitions to physician orders to ensure accuracy of ordered examinations. Responsible for outside film. Processes film and has knowledge of all processing equipment. Responsible for keeping all radiology policies current. Attends and participates in professional organizations and continuing education programs for personal/professional growth. Monitors radiation badges. Accurately completes payroll on a daily basis. Adheres to department rules and standards for attendance. Respects and maintains confidentiality.
The Requirements:
Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiologic technology. Certification or registry eligible from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or other accepted accrediting bodies.
