Job Description

The MRI Lead Technologist functions as a staff MRI technologist while also providing day-to-day clinical leadership and workflow support within the MRI department. Under the supervision of a radiologist and departmental leadership, the Lead performs all essential MRI technologist duties, including patient care, imaging procedures, and contrast administration, while serving as a clinical resource for MRI staff. This role also supports daily operational coordination, assists with staff education and onboarding, promotes adherence to departmental policies and safety standards, and facilitates effective communication between staff and leadership.
