1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with 1+ years of experience and prior travel assignment history required. Details X-Ray Tech unit within an acute care hospital setting Night shift, 3x10 or 4x10 hours, 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM 7 days on / 7 days off schedule, Wednesday to Tuesday Rotating call, 4-8 shifts per month Rotating holiday coverage required Performs general radiography including abdomen, chest, spine, extremities, and skull series Fluoroscopy studies including barium swallow, upper GI series, contrast enema, and arthrography Mobile and surgical procedures including C-Arm, O-ARM, and portable chest/abdomen imaging Uses GE and Philips equipment along with PACS system Epic EMR experience preferred Requirements Minimum of 1 year experience as a Radiology Technologist ARRT (R) certification required BLS certification required Prior travel assignment experience required Wisconsin or Compact license required if applicable; pending license accepted at time of submission but must be obtained during compliance Experience in Trauma Level I or II settings preferred Community hospital experience preferred Experience with peripheral IV starts, contrast media administration, and radiation safety practices Knowledge of infection prevention and isolation precautions/PPE Additional Information Perform diagnostic imaging across general radiography, fluoroscopy, and mobile/surgical procedures Work across adult acute care, emergency department, ICU, and outpatient settings Facility cannot accommodate latex allergies Candidates may return to this facility only after a minimum 1-year separation Local candidates accepted at a lower rate Travel pairs accepted First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
