Job Description

StaffDNA is seeking a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist to support hospital and outpatient clients nationwide. In this role, you'll perform complex IR imaging and assist physicians with minimally invasive procedures, ensuring high-quality images, radiation safety, and excellent patient care. You'll rotate through assigned facilities, adapt quickly to new teams and protocols, and document accurately in
PACS/EMR.
Work within a high-energy, tech-enabled staffing model using StaffDNA's digital platform to manage assignments, schedules, and compliance while delivering reliable, results-driven clinical performance. Responsibilities Perform interventional radiology imaging for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures Assist physicians with minimally invasive vascular and non-vascular interventions Maintain strict radiation safety and infection control standards Prepare patients, explain procedures, and monitor status throughout exams Operate and troubleshoot IR suites, fluoroscopy, and related imaging equipment Document procedures, charges, and images accurately in PACS/EMRCollaborate with nurses, physicians, and anesthesia to coordinate case flow Adapt quickly to protocols and workflows at multiple client facilities Manage assignments, timekeeping, and compliance via Staff DNA's digital platform Participate in on-call, weekend, and variable shifts as required by each contract Required Skills Interventional radiology procedures Fluoroscopy and angiography imaging Radiation safety and dose management Sterile technique and scrub assistance Contrast administration protocols PACS and RIS operation Patient assessment and monitoring Vascular access support Emergency response in procedural settings Clinical documentation in EMR/PACS
