Shift:
Shift 1 Hours vary from 0630- 1030 pm, most hours are days shift but do have a few PM shifts that this role may cover. This position is eligible for a $10K Sign on Bonus!
Job Summary:
At the direction of a radiologist and/or other providers, prepares patients, performs imaging procedures and operates imaging equipment. Performs diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols while utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. Adheres to organizational customer service standards and supports the organizational excellence initiatives. Provides positive and effective interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff. Performs ancillary services and assists in patient care areas as necessary. Is currently working in 2 or more of the following modalities and meets the requirements of advanced certification: Bone Densitometry, CT, Diagnostic X-ray, Interventional Radiology, Mammography, and MRI. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION
One year of current clinical experience in each modality is preferred.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION
Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required. An additional 1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field is preferred.
LICENSURE DESCRIPTION
ARRT registered and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer is required. Advanced Registered by the ARRT in applicable modalities (Bone Densitometry, CT, Diagnostic X-ray, Interventional Radiology, Mammography, and MRI) is required within 18 months of hire/transfer. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
