Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a contract opportunity specializing in advanced imaging procedures. This role is based in a reputable healthcare setting and focuses on delivering high-quality MRI scans to both adult and pediatric patients. The position requires a professional capable of independent decision-making and technical proficiency in all aspects of magnetic resonance imaging.
Schedule:
3x12 hour shifts, all consecutive
Saturday & Sunday:
8:00 am - 8:30 pm
Monday:
9:30 am - 10:00 pm
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an MRI technologist (5-7 years preferred) ARRT (MR) certification and BLS required Demonstrated expertise with a variety of MRI protocols for both adult and pediatric patients Experience with Philips Ingenia 1.5, Med Rad Spectris Solaris Injector Proficient in
EPIC, FUJI
PACS, and Omnicell systems Ability to work with limited supervision and make independent clinical judgments Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility Previous permanent or travel assignments must comply with facility re-engagement rules
COVID-19
vaccination required unless a valid exemption is approved
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MRI procedures according to established protocols and radiologist directives Prepare and screen patients and equipment for magnet safety Maintain a safe environment within the MRI suite, assuming responsibility for assigned procedures Utilize critical judgment to adjust and execute appropriate imaging techniques Provide patient care and demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills
Additional Details:
Black scrubs are the required dress code Floating is not required; this is a single unit assignment You may occasionally work alone This is an excellent opportunity for an MRI Tech who thrives in a fast-paced, specialized environment and enjoys a consistent, predictable three-day work week.
