Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Advance your MRI expertise in a dynamic imaging environment where precision and patient safety are paramount. This contract MRI Technologist opportunity requires proficiency with advanced MRI protocols, independent decision-making, and the ability to deliver high-quality imaging for both adult and pediatric patients.
Schedule:
3x12-hour shifts, consecutively:
Saturday & Sunday:
8:00 AM - 8:30
PM Monday:
9:30 AM - 10:00
PM Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of MRI experience (manager approval for 2 years' experience until 11/14/2025) ARRT (MRI) certification and current BLS required MR Safety Certification preferred Must reside more than 50 miles from facility
COVID-19
vaccination required (medical or religious exemptions available through formal approval process) Experience with Philips Ingenia 1.5, Med Rad Spectris Solaris Injector, FUJI PACS, EPIC, and Omnicell systems Black scrubs dress code adherence
Responsibilities:
Perform MRI scans following physician protocols and safety standards Independently operate Philips MRI and associated injection equipment Accurately complete imaging for diagnostic interpretations Screen patients and objects for MRI safety compliance before entry Deliver patient-centered care meeting the needs of diverse age groups Maintain a safe, orderly, and efficient magnet room Responsible for all procedures performed in the assigned area

No floating to other units required May work alone at times Unit features 1 MRI room; focused environment for specialized care Submission limited to 1 position at a time within the system; former staff and travelers subject to eligibility conditions Disclose any background information at submission This is a contract role for passionate MRI technologists committed to excellence in imaging and patient care.
