Rivers Health is hiring a Multi-Discipline Tech for the Gallipolis Office to perform the following duties. Performs quality radiographic procedures according to department policy and procedure. Evaluates radiographic quality of films prior to interpretation. Prepares patients for examinations obtaining pertinent histories and explaining the examination. Performs C.A.T. scans according to routine procedures. Coordinates scheduling, transportation and scanning of patients. Maintains cleanliness of room and equipment. Orders supplies used in the operation of the C.A.T. scanner and assigned radiology room. Follows safety and infection control policies of department and hospital. Takes call as scheduled. Performs other duties that may be assigned. Complies with Corporate Policies, Departmental Policies and Procedures and Personnel Employee Handbook. Fosters an atmosphere of teamwork and collaboration. Will participate in quality improvement activities including serving on quality improvement teams. Demonstrates excellence in customer service skills.

EDUCATION AND FORMAL TRAINING

Must have satisfactorily completed an AMA approved Radiology Technology

Program and meet the registry requirements by the ARRT and be licensed by

the state of WV.
