La Sonora at Dove Mountain is a vibrant senior living community on the Northwest side that provides our residents with gorgeous apartments, delicious food. excellent personalized care when necessary and an active and enriched life-style. Job Description The Life Enrichment Director plans and coordinates a variety of social events, physical activities and outings to provide a vibrant and active community life for our residents. These should also fulfill all the aspects of what constitutes an enriched life including: spiritual, purposeful and intellectual pursuits. Some important aspects of the position: Determine resident program preferences, talents, and needs through resident feedback, new resident orientation, resident council meetings, and communication with resident families. Plan daily and weekly programs to engage residents in the community to meet their social, physical, emotional, and psychological needs. Assist in planning programs and events that encourage prospective residents to participate in community life and programs. Qualifications 2+ years of activity programming experience. 1+ years of leadership experience, in senior living preferred. A love for seniors!
