Pay:
$75,000 - $85,000 per year About the Opportunity Quantum Care Place of El Dorado Hills is seeking an Activity Director to lead meaningful programming, entertainment, engagement, and resident-contentment initiatives in our new assisted living community. Responsibilities Plan monthly events, activity calendars, flyers, community-news materials, resident council meetings, family events, and birthday celebrations. Encourage residents to maintain and develop their fullest potential for independent living through activities and recreational programs. Coordinate volunteers, activity supplies, entertainment, decorating, and special events within an approved budget. Complete daily activity and attendance documentation according to policy. Build positive relationships with residents, families, staff, outside agencies, and community partners. Maintain clean and orderly activity spaces and report observed facility or resident-apartment concerns. Provide one-to-one interaction for residents who do not attend group activities. Follow infection-control, emergency, fire, missing-person, safety, and disaster procedures. Qualifications At least 18 years of age. Degree in recreational therapy or at least two years of senior-living experience preferred. Current Food Handler's Permit and First Aid/CPR certification, or ability to obtain required credentials within the facility's timeframe. Required health screening and immunization documentation, subject to applicable California requirements. Positive, encouraging, organized, and able to motivate residents to participate. $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
