Engagement Director Responsibilities:
Plan, develop, and oversee a comprehensive activities program that meets the physical, mental, and social needs of residents Lead and coordinate daily activities, events, and special programs Encourage and maximize resident participation and engagement Supervise and support activity staff and volunteers Prepare and manage materials, supplies, and activity schedules Collaborate with other departments to ensure activities are well-coordinated and safe Maintain accurate documentation of resident participation and program effectiveness Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and community standards
Qualifications:
Previous experience in activities programming, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting Leadership or supervisory experience preferred Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Strong creativity and ability to design engaging programs Genuine passion for working with seniors Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Physical ability to assist in setting up and conducting activities Leisure Vale Assisted Living is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions on the basis of merit.
