Director of Activities Join the Talented Staff at AdviniaCare! We are seeking a full-time Director of Activities to assume a role in the delivery of quality therapeutic recreation to the residents of our facility. Role:
As a Director of Activities, you will be responsible for developing and implementing programming to meet the individual physical, cognitive, social, and recreational needs of our residents. You will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to create a comprehensive care plan that promotes independence, socialization, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement recreational programs, including workshops, classes, and activities Conduct assessments to identify individual needs and preferences Create and manage activity schedules and budgets Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop therapy plans Provide direct care to residents, as needed Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements:
HS diploma or equivalent Degree in Therapeutic Recreation preferred Long Term Care Certification preferred Two years of long-term care experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
