The Wheatland Athletic Association (WAA) is a non-profit parent volunteer organization which provides youth athletic programs to all residents of Naperville, Aurora, and the surrounding areas. WAA was founded in 1977 to provide T-Ball for 60 children. Today we have over 12,000 annual participants and offer a variety of programs for children ages 2 - 18 as well as adult programs. The Wheatland philosophy is to progressively develop children's skills by offering programs for various age levels. As they develop, the children are taught the value of good sportsmanship and teamwork. Our intent is for the children to have FUN and to learn to enjoy the sport they play. Many of the WAA programs are noncompetitive which provide a non-threatening and a positive experience for the children. Gym Supervisor Location:

Saturdays, 4-8 hours - shift hours will vary depending on gym scheduling

Salary:

$15.00 per hr.

Qualifications :

Must be a responsible and reliable person age 18 or older. Athletic experience preferred but not required. Requires strong people and customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with WAA staff and the general public. Attention to detail, accuracy and dependability required. Ability to maintain discretion with regard to confidential matters and/or information. Must be able to project professional appearance, have valid driver's license and provide own transportation.

Duties:

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Fields and Facilities, the Basketball Site Gym Supervisor will provide customer service to the guests of the gym facilities. Be responsible for facility security and general housekeeping tasks. Together with the Basketball Director ensure basketball officials are present and gym is properly set up for games.
