Overview We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Life Enrichment Director to inspire and engage residents in meaningful activities that enhance their quality of life. This vital role involves designing, coordinating, and implementing diverse recreational programs tailored to the needs and interests of seniors, including those with memory impairments such as Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. Responsibilities Plan and implement a monthly life enrichment calendar tailored to resident interests and needs Lead and facilitate group and one-on-one activities, including for residents unable to participate in group settings Coordinate community outings and transportation (including driving) Partner with community organizations and volunteers to expand programming Monitor and manage activity budgets, supplies, and equipment Train and support staff on life enrichment programming and resident engagement Ensure programming meets state, federal, and company regulations Assist with community events and marketing initiatives alongside the sales team Recruit, train, and oversee volunteers and life enrichment staff Experience Proven experience working in assisted living facilities or memory care with a focus on senior care or memory care programs. Demonstrated expertise in event planning, recreational therapy, or therapeutic activities tailored for individuals with dementia or disabilities. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, staff, and external partners.
