In senior living, life enrichment is more than activities — it's connection, engagement, and creating moments that matter. This leadership role is responsible for developing experiences that support residents' physical, emotional, social, and intellectual well-being. Why You'll Love This Role Create programming that directly enhances quality of life Lead a team dedicated to engagement and connection Collaborate with culinary, clinical, and operations teams Build strong relationships with residents and families Make a visible and meaningful impact every day What You'll Do Develop and execute a comprehensive life enrichment strategy aligned with resident interests and abilities Lead, mentor, and schedule life enrichment associates Plan and facilitate activities, events, outings, and community partnerships Track participation, satisfaction, and engagement outcomes Manage department budget and resources responsibly Ensure programs comply with state regulations and company standards Partner with families to encourage involvement and connection Promote a person-centered approach to engagement Maintain accurate documentation and reporting What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Gerontology, Recreational Therapy, or related field preferred 2+ years of leadership experience (senior living or healthcare preferred) Proven ability to design and implement engaging programming Strong organizational and communication skills Working knowledge of state regulations related to life enrichment Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software systems Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed Genuine passion for improving the lives of senior adults Benefits Double time pay on major holidays Free employee meals Up to $1,000 employee referral bonus (no limit) Full-time benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, life insurance, disability, and EAP Claiborne Senior Living is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to creating an inclusive workplace where all qualified individuals are considered without regard to legally protected characteristics.
