Full Job Description The Role:
The National Career Development Advisor plays a key role in executing career development initiatives in partnership with local management. You will plan and deliver training, monitor program associate progress, evaluate promotion readiness, and report on developmental outcomes. This hybrid position requires four days of in-office collaboration per week, offering a dynamic blend of teamwork and independent work.What You'll Do:
Track Career Track associates' progress and promotion readiness during the final program stage and post-program period, reporting findings to local and national leadership. Monitor post-program retention and identify areas for improvement. Support associate engagement during program transition through coaching and reinforcement of learning, including training in client-facing staff job functions. Manage scheduling and communications for multi-phase training programs and related events. Advise on curriculum design and ensure effective delivery of training through various formats such as instruction, coaching, online modules, and job-shadowing. Develop written instructional materials. Evaluate job readiness through developmental checkpoints, including testing, performance reviews, group discussions, career pathing resources, and audits. Conduct regular check-ins with managers and associates, providing action plans as needed. Facilitate training and shadowing sessions locally and regionally in collaboration with management.What We're Looking For:
5+ years of property & casualty or employee benefits experience in a client-facing servicing role. College degree preferred. Must hold or be willing to earn a Property & Casualty or Life & Health insurance license. Proficient with agency management systems, Microsoft Office, and internet-based platforms. Strong coaching skills, with experience and passion for supporting group development. Self-directed with the ability to manage tasks independently in a fast-paced environment. Collaborative mindset with the ability to build effective relationships across teams and stakeholders. Excellent organizational, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to adapt to changes in systems, procedures, processes, and policies. Willingness to travel as needed. Why USI? $90,000- $100,000.
