Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Activity Aide to join our dedicated team in providing engaging, meaningful activities that enhance the quality of life for our residents in Assisted Living/Memory Care. Your enthusiasm and creativity will help foster a vibrant community environment where residents feel valued, supported, and stimulated. This position is currently from 4pm to 8pm during the week, and every other weekend from 9:00am to 5:00pm Duties Lead a diverse range of recreational activities that promote socialization, cognitive stimulation, physical activity, and emotional well-being for residents. Manage schedules effectively to ensure timely delivery of daily programs while accommodating residents' preferences and special needs. Provide companionship and encouragement during activities to foster social interaction and reduce feelings of isolation among residents. Requirements Proven experience in event planning or recreational therapy within assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or long-term care environments. Strong background in senior care, memory care, Alzheimer's/dementia care, or related fields such as social work or caregiving. Excellent communication skills to engage residents effectively and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Managing activity schedules with efficiency and compassion.
