St. Agnes Home, a beautiful senior living community sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters of the Divine Heart of Jesus, is seeking a compassionate, creative, and energetic Activities Director to lead and grow our resident activities program. Conveniently located in Kirkwood at the corner of Woodlawn and Manchester Road, St. Agnes Home is committed to providing a true \"Home Away From Home\" where residents are cared for with dignity, compassion, and Christian values. As our Activities Director, you will develop, coordinate, and oversee engaging programs designed to enhance the physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and psychosocial well-being of our residents across all levels of care.
What You'll Do:
Plan, organize, and lead a comprehensive activities program for residents of all care levels Develop monthly activity calendars and special events Coordinate entertainment, outings, religious services, volunteers, and community involvement Provide meaningful programming for both active and room-bound residents Supervise Activities staff and volunteers Manage departmental supplies, budgets, and resources Partner with other departments to create memorable resident experiences Foster a warm, compassionate, Catholic atmosphere for residents and families
What We're Looking For:
High School Diploma or GED required Activities Certification preferred Two years of long-term care activities experience preferred Knowledge of state and federal regulations for long-term care activities programs Creativity, enthusiasm, and a passion for enriching the lives of seniors Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Why St. Agnes Home? ️
