We are seeking a passionate, energetic, and dedicated Activities Director to join our established team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with individuals and our staff to provide quality programs.
Responsibilities:
Develops, plans, and implements all activities for program. Manages the activities team including volunteers, recreation staff. Maintains the schedule of all activities for the day including preparation of weekly activity plan. Coordinates activities with other agencies and participates in planning and implementation of activities for the community. Manages the budget for all program activities. Maintains accurate records of all program activities. Provides feedback on new ideas and programs to program staff and other community partners. Participates in training staff on new programs and policies as needed. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
Degree or experience related field preferred or equivalent work experience with emphasis on mental health, social work, counseling, or related field preferred. Caregiver background including L1ma, CNA or CMT may qualify with right background and personality Ability to work independently with minimum supervision; ability to multitask; ability to prioritize work; ability to manage time efficiently; ability to meet deadlines; ability to work in a team environment. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people (i.e., clients, family members, staff, vendors). Clean drivers record
