Experience:
Must have an active CNA or nursing license. Experience with memory care and long-term care required.
Job Purpose of Activity Aide:
The primary purpose of the Activity Aide is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of activities in memory care in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that an on-going program of activities is designed to meet, in accordance with the comprehensive assessment, the interests, and the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each patient. Job Responsibilities for Activity Aide include: Plan, develop, organize, implement, and evaluate the memory care activity program. Assist in developing and coordinating of memory care activities policies and procedures. Develop and implement policies and procedures for the identification of medically related activity needs of the resident. Participate in community planning related to the interests of memory care and the services and needs of the resident and family. Involve residents and families in planning memory care activity programs and planning objectives and goals for the resident. Ensure that all charted activity progress notes are informative and descriptive of the services provided and of the resident's response to the service. Assume the authority, responsibility, and accountability of the memory care activity program. Keep abreast of current federal and state regulations, as well as professional standards, and make recommendations on changes in policies and procedures to the Administrator. Make written and oral reports/recommendations to the Administrator concerning the operation of the Memory care activity program as requested. Full benefits package available Magnolia Square is
