Activities Director Good Shepherd Care Center is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Activities Director to lead and manage our Activities Department. The primary responsibility of this position is to plan, organize, develop, and direct a comprehensive activities program that enhances the quality of life for our residents. Responsibilities Plan, organize, develop, and oversee the daily operation of the Activities Department. Evaluate and improve activity programs to ensure they meet the needs and interests of all residents. Develop and maintain a monthly activities calendar. Create and document individualized activity care plans for residents, outlining goals and participation opportunities. Supervise activity staff and coordinate volunteer involvement as appropriate. Promote resident engagement and participation in recreational, social, and therapeutic activities. Qualifications Supervisory experience preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to assess resident needs and develop appropriate activity programs. Activities Director Certification required; certification may be obtained after hire.
