Duties Plan, coordinate, and facilitate engaging activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities, including dementia-specific programs Support residents' emotional well-being through companionship, conversation, and recreational engagement Maintain accurate documentation of resident participation in activities Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure residents' needs are met during activities Promote a safe environment by adhering to HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols Assist with transportation within the facility for medical appointments or outings, ensuring safety with equipment such as lifts or wheelchairs Requirements Prior experience working with seniors or in long-term care settings such as assisted living, nursing homes, or hospitals is highly preferred Must have an outgoing personality, compassionate, and creative with a desire to serve our residents Demonstrated ability to work effectively with people with disabilities or developmental disabilities; experience in dementia or Alzheimer's care is desirable Strong interpersonal skills with a positive attitude toward caregiving and team collaboration Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values compassion, innovation, and excellence.
