Therapeutic Recreation Specialist II Full Time, wage range $17.50- $18.
What we are looking for:
Actively cooperate with the Director of Therapeutic Recreation and Leisure Services and the Therapeutic Recreation and Leisure Coordinators to achieve the goals and objectives of all recreation programs. Encourage and maintain a positive working relationship with all departments in the agency, parents, staff, individuals receiving services and community partners. Attend and participate in all required and/or requested departmental or agency meetings. Complete required documentation and perform documentation reviews to ensure all records are maintained in conformance with rules, regulations, policies and procedures and billing practices. Obtain and maintain required training certifications that include: First Aid, CPR, etc. (paid for and provided by the agency). Attend all required training, staff development programs and committees and/or staff meetings as required by the agency and/or State and Federal regulations.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Possess good interpersonal, written, oral, and communication abilities and effective time management/organizational skills. Able to work scheduled hours that may include overtime, weekend and/or holiday timeframes and maintain an acceptable work attendance as defined in the agency's personnel policy manual and handbook. Be computer literate with knowledge of agency operating systems and applicable software required for department needs. Able to generate and present comprehensive written reports and respond to questions about the report. Demonstrate sound judgment in normal work and emergency situations. Must physically be able to perform required certifications and lift fifty (50) pounds.What we offer in return:
