Duties Plan, organize, and execute a variety of engaging recreational activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities, including social events, games, arts and crafts, and fitness programs Coordinate resident events that promote community involvement and enhance quality of life Build strong rapport with residents through personalized interactions and attentive communication Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as mobility support, dressing, and personal hygiene as needed Maintain detailed records of activities, resident participation, and progress to support individualized care plans Collaborate with team members to develop innovative programs that address residents' cognitive and physical needs, including memory care and dementia support Manage schedules efficiently to ensure timely activity delivery while balancing residents' preferences and care requirements Requirements Proven experience in event planning or recreational therapy within assisted living facilities or nursing homes Prior experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities in long-term care or home & community care settings Knowledge of Alzheimer's disease, dementia care, geriatrics, and memory care best practices Strong communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and team members Ability to develop engaging programs that foster resident rapport building and socialization Proficiency in Microsoft Office for documentation and scheduling purposes Demonstrated ability to coordinate resident events while managing multiple responsibilities efficiently Compassionate caregiving mindset with a passion for enhancing senior well-being through creative activities Join us in creating joyful moments that brighten our residents' lives!
