Camps & Conferences Athletics Summer Staff 2026
Job Summary:
This role is to participate in the Warriors camps or clinics hosted by ESU Athletics. These events will be hosted between June to August in 2026. This role reports directly to the Coach that is hosting that given days camp or clinic. The various sports that are participating are Basketball, Football, Baseball, Field Hockey, Track & Field, Soccer, Swimming, Softball, Lacrosse, Volleyball, Wrestling, and Cheerleading.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct supervision and assure the safety of approximately 10 camper's ages 5 to 18 yrs. Provide quality instruction for Warrior Sports Camp (sport). Provide guidance and support to camp participants-be attentive to participant concerns and/or problems. Assure that procedures to report accidents and/or compliance incidents are understood and followed. Assist Camp Director with residence hall check-in and check-out. Supervise campers and monitor behavior in the residence halls, facilities, fields and dining areas. Attend all Warrior Sport Camp Staff meetings. Assist with pre and post camp assessments including status of facilities and grounds.
Requirements:
Collegiate or professional playing experience.
Knowledge of specific sport:
playing guidelines, rules, regulations. Experience working with diverse populations. Successful employment is based on the completion of all background checks and compliance training prior to the start of camp.
Additional Info:
Compensation will be discussed with the Camp Director for the sport. Dates of employment are to be discussed with the Camp Director for the sport. Employment cannot begin until official letter has been received from the Department of Human Resources. Employment Eligibility & University Commitment Must be at least 18 years old and be able to read and write English. Employment with ESU is contingent on the selected candidate passing a thorough background check that includes: FBI fingerprinting, PA Child Abuse, and employment.
