The Lifestyle Engagement Coordinator is responsible for creating and maintaining a commitment to purposeful programming through the enhancement of the four pillars of successful aging (Spiritual, Intellectual, Physical, and Social). Applicants must demonstrate and practice a person-centered philosophy that helps to develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, and other team members. This will include coordination of the community programming calendar listing entertainment, tours, and events for the residents within the community, as well as celebration of special moments, and holidays. Lifestyle Engagement Coordinator:

Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Gerontology, Music Therapy, Psychology or related field from accredited college, or university or four years of related experience, or combination of both education and experience. Six months' experience with programming for older adults in a healthcare environment is preferred. CTRS or ADC is preferred CPR certification at time of hire is preferred but will be provided upon hire. Able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with residents, resident families, and team members.
