In-home, community-based, day support settings, and virtual services Position Summary Rich Health Solutions, Inc. is seeking a creative and compassionate Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) to provide Recreation Therapy Therapeutic Consultation services to individuals receiving Medicaid waiver services. This position provides meaningful, individualized support through a combination of in-home visits, community-based services, collaboration within day support settings, and virtual consultation as appropriate . The Recreation Therapist will help individuals identify and participate in meaningful leisure and recreational activities while providing coaching, recommendations, and support to caregivers, staff, and interdisciplinary teams. The focus of this role is to promote independence, community inclusion, social participation, emotional regulation, and quality of life by developing practical strategies that align with each individual's goals, interests, abilities, and support needs. Responsibilities Provide Recreation Therapy Therapeutic Consultation services in home, community, day support, and virtual settings Observe individuals in their natural environments to identify strengths, interests, barriers, and opportunities for meaningful engagement Develop individualized recommendations and strategies to support leisure skills, community participation, social interaction, and independence Provide coaching and education to caregivers, direct support professionals, and team members to encourage successful implementation of strategies Collaborate with support coordinators, families, and interdisciplinary providers to support person-centered outcomes Recommend adaptive activities, community resources, and opportunities that promote participation and inclusion Complete accurate and timely documentation required for Medicaid waiver services Communicate proactively with clients, families, teams, and agency staff Qualifications Current Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) credential Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, or other functional support needs preferred Comfortable providing services across home, community, day support, and virtual environments Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team Creative, dependable, and person-centered approach to service delivery Compensation & Schedule Competitive W-2 compensation Flexible part-time schedule (approximately 15-30 hours per week) Opportunity to provide individualized, meaningful services while working as part of a collaborative clinical team To Apply Please send your resume to:
