A Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist (CTRS)/ Recreational Therapist offers supports to individuals to restore, remediate, or rehabilitate an individual to improve the individual's functioning and independence as well as reduce or eliminate the effects of individual's disability. A recreational therapist is responsible for organizing and directing adapted sports, dramatics, arts and crafts, social activities, and other recreation services designed to restore, remediate, or rehabilitate. Also expected to complete planning, reporting, and write-up when in association with the actual one-on-one direct care/therapy service delivery with the waiver individual

Required:

Bachelors degree in Recreational Therapy (CTRS), State and County background checks, CPR-First Aid certification, negative TB test, professional liability insurance, and reliable transportation with vehicle insurance are required. These are independent contractor positions, not employee positions, and individuals will receive a 1099 for tax purposes.
