Job Description

The Activity Specialist will provide meaningful, stimulating, and entertaining activities to all Assisted Living and Health and Rehab Center residents in an effort to promote social interaction and provide psychological well-being. This position is full time.
Qualifications:
Experience in a skilled nursing facility, health care, or related field preferred. Bachelors degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field or equivalent experience. Experience with event planning and organization.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to see and hear and communicate well with residents, families and coworkers. Ability to stand and walk for extended time periods. Must be able to lift fifty (50) pounds at times and operate a lift van.
