Activities Coordinator Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate a variety of activities and events for residents in a senior care facility
  • Develop and implement engaging programs that promote socialization, physical activity, and mental stimulation
  • Collaborate with staff and residents to identify individual interests and preferences for activity planning
  • Ensure activities are conducted in a safe and supportive environment
  • Maintain accurate records of resident participation and program effectiveness
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to residents as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate activities into the overall care plan
Experience:
  • Experience working in senior care or assisted living facilities
  • Knowledge of aging issues, memory care, and ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)
  • Strong event planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff members
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with older adults
