Position Summary The Recreation Aide supports the Director of Recreation in planning and delivering engaging programs, social events, and outings that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being for residents. Responsibilities Assist with planning and leading group and individual activities, including games, crafts, music, and social events. Escort and supervise residents during activities and outings as needed. Encourage resident participation and adapt activities to meet individual abilities and interests. Help maintain activity supplies, equipment, and activity areas in a clean and organized manner. Document resident participation and preferences in accordance with facility policy. Perform other duties as assigned by the Activities Director or facility management. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Unencumbered CNA license in the state of Tennessee preferred. Long-term care/skilled nursing experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in working with older adults.
