Job Description We are seeking a Recreation Therapy Contractor to join our team! You will provide recreation and leisure services to individuals in various settings.
Responsibilities:
Establish open lines of communication for individuals with developmental issues Offer assistance to individuals cognitive delays Provide prevention-oriented therapy Implement and review treatment plans Facilitate daily progress notes, and quarterly reports Occasionally collaborate placement agencies Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner (weekly) Provide secure and consistent environment for clients
Qualifications:
Suggested experience (not required) in recreation therapy, mental health counseling or other related fields Familiarity with community recreation and leisure resources Excellent written and verbal communications skills Ability to build rapport with clients Strong independent leadership qualities
Requirements:
Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) CPR/First Aid Lifeguard Certified (a special program can be arranged if applicable) Carry Professional Liability Insurance Valid Driver's license

$45.00 to $50.00 /hour ($250 bonus after a successful 3 months)
