Job Description

Activities Director We are seeking a fun and compassionate Activities Director to join our team at Covington Senior Living. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in working with elderly individuals and be dedicated to ensuring that residents remain active, engaged, and connected through a variety of enrichment activities, both within the facility and in the community.

Pay:
$17.00

DOE Responsibilities:
Program Development & Implementation
  • Plan and execute social, educational, and physical activities that stimulate residents' minds, promote physical wellness, and foster a sense of community. Resident Engagement & Participation
  • Encourage resident participation in planned and spontaneous activities and work with residents to ensure their individual preferences and needs are met. Drive Bus for Excursions
  • Drive a small bus to community events, to provide residents with opportunities for socialization and exploration. Activity Calendar Management
  • Develop and post a monthly activities calendar that reflects residents' interests and needs, ensuring it is updated in advance of the new month. Special Events & Holidays
  • Plan and organize holiday events and parties, including seasonal buffets, ensuring these events are well-promoted and enjoyed by residents and their families.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent Active Driver's License 1+ year of experience in elderly care (Preferred)
