With four campuses, the earliest dating back to 1919, Friendship has grown to offer the full continuum of care, including independent living, assisted living, home care, outpatient therapy, inpatient rehab, long-term care and Alzheimer's and memory care. Friendship is looking for a Full-Time Director of Independent Living to join our Friendship Independent Living team, located in Roanoke, VA. The Director of Independent Living is responsible for managing and directing the sales, marketing, and admissions process for Friendship Apartment Village Corporation (FAVC).
Pay Range:
$80,000 - $85,000 salary
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred. Previous experience with apartment facilities management, preferably in a Retirement Community Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong management skills Experience in identifying problems and planning solutions. Must be self-motivated and driven to succeed and possess the ability to make independent decisions. Must be well connected within the community with familiarity of key referral sources and an understanding of the needs of seniors and their families.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Manages and directs the Point of Entry admissions screening process. Identifies and pursues sales/marketing opportunities locally and regionally. Ensures Friendship Independent Living Community provides the highest quality services to its residents. Works with the Friendship leadership team to coordinate a continuum of care Coordinates the maintenance, upkeep, and marketability of all independent living properties. Directs all activities and social functions/events pertaining to the resident services department and/or independent living residents. Attends to the needs of our independent living residents as required. Manages and directs the Friendship Independent Living, Resident Services, Transportation, Wellness and Activities staff. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
