Aviva Pembroke Senior Living is looking for an energetic, compassionate, and creative Lifestyles Assistant to join our team! What You'll Do Plan, coordinate, and lead engaging recreational and therapeutic activities for Assisted Living and Memory Care residents. Create programs that promote residents' physical, emotional, cognitive, and social well-being. Work with other departments to provide meaningful resident experiences. Assist with resident transportation and accompany residents on community outings and special events. Develop and post monthly activity calendars while maintaining required activity documentation. Help coordinate and support the community volunteer program. Encourage resident participation and foster a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Assist with evening and weekend activities as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience in senior living, recreation, activities, healthcare, or a related field preferred. Certified Activity Professional (CAP) or equivalent certification preferred. Current CPR certification preferred. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Creative, organized, dependable, and enthusiastic. Passion for enriching the lives of older adults. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and participating in resident activities throughout the day.
