Job Description
Activities Director Vineyard Park at Lynden Manor - Lynden, WA Vineyard Park at Lynden Manor is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and organized Activities Director to join our team full-time. If you have a passion for enriching the lives of seniors through engaging programs and meaningful experiences, we would love to hear from you! As our Activities Director, you will create and lead activities that promote social engagement, physical wellness, cognitive stimulation, and overall quality of life for our residents in a warm and welcoming community. Qualifications Previous activities or recreation experience preferred. Experience planning events or coordinating activities is preferred. Excellent work history with a strong attendance record. Dependable, self-motivated, and organized. Outstanding customer service and communication skills. A genuine desire to work with older adults and enhance their daily lives. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred (for resident outings and appointments). Responsibilities Plan and coordinate engaging daily, weekly, and monthly activities. Create and distribute the monthly resident newsletter. Develop and publish the monthly activities calendar. Organize and lead resident outings and community events. Transport residents to scheduled appointments and outings as needed. Encourage resident participation through meaningful, person-centered activities. Build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff. Maintain activity supplies, records, and required documentation. Perform other duties as assigned.
