JOB TITLE
Events Coordinator

X NATURE AND SCOPE OF JOB
To coordinate the activities and programs for the school. To be actively involved in the communication, development, initial implementation and revision recommendations of the athletic, activity, and intramural programs for the school.
JOB FUNCTIONS
ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS
1. Assist in the scheduling of facilities for all groups. 2. Attend and assist in the supervision of activities. 3. Supervise the lending of equipment for stage, music, and activities programs with community entities and other school districts. 4. Recommend administrative guidelines for activities programs to the building principal. 5. Coordinate the efforts of the parent booster club with the activities meetings. 6. Assist in preparing building activities calendar yearly and monthly for faculty, staff and community. 7. Assist the Director of Activities and building principal in the preparation of all
W.H.S.A.A.
reports and information pertaining to the school. 8. Prepare list of needed supplies for the activities department, i.e. rule books, physical forms, contracts, etc. 9. Prepare final season reports on activities programs and participation and submit to the building principal. 10. Keep records of letter winners and outstanding award recipients. 11. Recommend facility repair or maintenance concerns in student activities areas. 12. Assist the building principal, when requested, at activity review meetings. 13. Assist in setting up appropriate tournaments and playing schedules that meet the needs of the students participating in that activity. 14. Assume responsibility for care of equipment and facilities being used.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
1. Attends meetings with coaches and sponsors. 2. Acts as a consultant to the building principal on matters pertaining to the school. 3. Performs other duties assigned by the building principal or other appropriate administrative personnel. __

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS
AND MENTAL ABILITY
. Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries course. . Knowledge of CPR and First Aid. . Working knowledge of competitive athletics and tournament management. . Ability to manage and motivate people. . Ability to manage athletic facilities and equipment.
EDUCATION, LICENSE, CERTIFICATION OR FORMAL TRAINING
. Possess all certificates required for the State of Wyoming. . Coaching and teaching experience. . Must be a certified employee of Campbell County School District.
EQUIPMENT USED
Calculator Computer Typewriter All types of athletic equipment for volleyball, football, basketball, wrestling, cross country, golf and track.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
. Ability to stand at least 12 hours. . Ability to work steady for up to 14 hours. . Ability to work in hostile atmosphere.
ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
. Occupationally exposed to bloodborne pathogens and other potentially infectious materials based on task and procedures required. . Tolerate heat and humidity. . Tolerate wet and cold. . Tolerate high levels of noise. . Tolerate high levels of stress.
