Pay Range:

$44.27

•$71.09 per hour Compensation is based on experience, education, and qualifications. This position is represented by a collective bargaining agreement. Multiple openings may be available. You will collaborate closely with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, patients, and families to ensure safe, high-quality care and positive outcomes. What You'll Do Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care Accurately document patient care in the electronic health record Coordinate and delegate care appropriately among the healthcare team Advocate for patients and support family-centered care Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and infection prevention initiatives Maintain clinical excellence through ongoing education and professional development Qualifications Required Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience as a staff nurse, or ability to successfully complete orientation to competency Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) One year of recent Registered Nurse experience Ideal Candidate You are a compassionate and skilled nurse who: Thrives in a collaborative team environment Builds positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues Demonstrates strong clinical judgment and critical thinking Provides culturally responsive, patient-centered care Is committed to lifelong learning and professional growth Department-Specific Requirement Medical/Surgical Observation Unit & Neurology NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification required within 6 months of hire Working Environment This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting, including patient handling, mobility assistance, CPR performance, and exposure to clinical environments where body fluids, airborne particles, and other healthcare-related hazards may be present.
